Entrepreneurial Tips For Young Women - IV
Hard work pays off, at least that is the motto that has served me well. Sure, it takes a solid plan and some motivation and focus, but if you stay positive then hard work will pay off dividends that you won't even realize until long afterwards. For young women looking to become successful in the business world, that is my first piece of advice. However, there are so many ways to become successful in the business world, that I couldn't help but to start off with my best tip. If you want to know the rest of them, then keep reading as I go over not only how a young woman can become successful in the business world, but how a young woman can become successful at anything she wants to.
The days of the greedy and stagnant corporation are about to be behind us, as these bloated beasts start to wake up after years of slumber to find that their traditional methods are dull and do not work any longer. Many people complain that the economy will die and that people are going to lose jobs, but what they don't talk about is that this is creating a whole new set of opportunities for the person willing to be the new leader that will revolutionize the way that business is done in this country. I'm not talking about the regular corporate executive or the hard working assistant; I am talking about the personal brand. You've seen it before, but you just might not recognize it that way. Think about Oprah, she is a hugely successful personal brand. Think about Rachel Ray, she created an empire from scratch and is gaining in popularity by the minute.
Personal brands are the new way of business and if you want to be successful in the business world then you need to start branding yourself today. You need to give up the old ways of working hard and moving up the ladder. Throw out the ladder completely and build an elevator instead. The days of the corporation are gone, now is the time to create individual stars. What are you interested in? Are you a lawyer interested in family law? Then become the family law brand and settle for nothing else. Find a way that you can use your personality and experience to your advantage and create a brand out of it. If you are a painter, then become "Jessica, the vegetarian painter that paints awesome portraits of people". I'm just throwing some things out there, but you see what I mean.

There are some male versions of personal brands as well, such as Hugh Heffner, Emeril, and LeBron James to name a few. These brands can create empires out of nothing more than a quirky personality and some advertising. I know it may sound unusual, but the fact is that people would rather deal with someone they trust than a name on a carton. Your name can become that trustworthy household brand if you work hard enough to make it happen.
Personal brands are quickly replacing traditional business models at rapid speed. There are a whole host of new TV personalities that gave up the regular TV for .TV domains. The personal brand is an entrepreneur's dream and anyone can do it. The barriers of access for young women are removed and the field is wide open, so consider starting your own personal brand today.
